We’ve introduced enhanced Activity Logs for contacts within vaults. All key actions related to contact creation, profile updates, permissions, invitations, and access changes are now recorded directly in the vault’s Activity Log — providing greater visibility and accountability across all portal types.
Note: This enhancement applies only to new contacts created after the release.

Why This Matters (Benefits)
Provides full auditability of new contact lifecycle actions
Strengthens compliance and governance controls
Improves transparency around who made changes and when
Captures both user-triggered and system-generated events
Supports internal audits and regulatory reviews
What Problem It Solves
Previously:
Contact-related changes were not fully centralized in the Activity Log.
Administrators lacked a comprehensive audit trail for identity and access updates.
It was difficult to confirm who performed specific permission or profile changes.
Now:
All key contact events are automatically recorded in the vault’s Activity Log.
Each log entry clearly identifies the user (or system) responsible for the action.
Expired access and system-triggered events are also captured.
Vault managers have structured, traceable oversight of contact lifecycle changes.
This applies to contacts created after the feature release.
How It Works
All events below are automatically logged inside each vault under the Activity Log section for contacts created after version 5.37.
- Contact Created
- Profile Information Updated
- Permission Granted
- Invitation Sent
- Invitation Accepted
- Permission Modified
- Permission Revoked / Contact Removed
- Access Removal Notification
- Contact Deactivation
