System-Wide Bug Fixes: Reminders, Permissions, and File Uploads (v5.13)

We've fixed several key issues, including reminder editing, file uploads with special characters, permissions errors, and more to ensure a smoother user experience.

Several key issues were addressed and resolved across the system, improving the functionality and overall user experience. Here’s a rundown of the major bug fixes:


1. Editing Reminders Bug Fixed ?

Previously, editing existing Reminders resulted in previous information disappearing, forcing users to re-enter key details of the Reminder. We're thrilled to inform you that this issue has been resolved. Now, when editing Reminders, all the previously entered information remains visible, allowing users to modify only the necessary fields.

2. Admin Permission Granting for Company-Created Contacts

Admins faced challenges granting Trusted Advisors (TA) permissions for company-created contacts when no default Entity was specified and multiple Entities were involved. This issue has been fixed, allowing Admins to correctly assign permissions regardless of the Entity configuration.

3. 'Contact Inside Vault' Checkbox Visibility for Representative Users

Some users experienced an issue where the 'Contact Inside Vault' checkbox was not visible when creating a Representative (Rep) User. This bug has been addressed, with the checkbox now appearing as expected, ensuring smooth user creation and permissions setup.

4. File Uploads with Non-Supported Characters

Users were unable to upload documents containing non-ISO-8859-1 characters, causing the file upload process to fail. This issue has been successfully resolved and non-supported characters in file names will now automatically be replaced with underscores, allowing for successful uploads without errors.

5. Error Alert When Setting Reminders with Other Users' Files

An issue where Admins and Representatives received error alerts when setting Reminders on files uploaded by other users has been corrected. Users can now successfully create and set Reminders on all files without issues.

6. Null Notification in Trusted Advisor Assignment

A bug causing notifications to display 'null' when assigning Trusted Advisors has been resolved. Notifications now display the correct information as expected.

7. VaultHolder +Trusted Advisor Role Combination Login Issues

Users that are both a VaultHolder and a Trusted Advisor encountered a white screen when logging accessing their Vault. This has been fixed, and these users can now access their Vaults without any issues.


These fixes enhance the overall user experience, ensuring smoother workflows and reducing interruptions.
