Managing entities across multiple documents and folders can be done quickly using bulk actions. This feature allows you to add, update, or remove entities from several items at once, saving time and ensuring accurate organization.
How to Bulk Edit Entities
Select Multiple Documents or Folders
- Navigate to the All Documents tab.
- Select multiple documents or folders by clicking on them.
Open the Entity Management Panel
- If the right-side panel is open, all assigned entities will be displayed.
- If the panel is not open:
- Right-click on the selection and choose "Entity" OR
- Click on the Actions menu (three dots) and select "Entity".
Understanding the Entity Selection Options
Entities assigned to your selected items will be displayed with different markers:
![]() | Check Mark | Entity is applied to all selected items. |
![]() | Minus Symbol | Entity is applied to some, but not all, selected items. |
![]() | Empty Box | Entity is not assigned to any of the selected items. |
Add, Update, or Remove Entities
- To add an entity to all selected items, click on an empty box. Ensure there is a check mark inside the box.
- To remove an entity from all selected items, click twice on a check-marked entity. Ensure the box is empty
- To return the original setting on partially assigned, click again until the minus mark is showed.
Save Changes
Click 'Update' to Save.
