How to move a Document?

If you would like to move a document to another location please follow these steps:


Move a document to another folder

If the document is already saved in the vault

Step 1: Select the document and right-click or select "Actions"

Step 2: Select Move


Step 3: Select the new location and click Move


Move a document from Unfiled to a folder

Step 1: Go to your Unfiled area


Step 2: Select the document and right-click or select "Actions" 

Step 3: Click Move to My Documents

Step 3: Click Move to My Documents

Step 4: Select the location and move the file

If you are receiving the document for the first time you may need to tell the system that you trust the email before moving the document.

If your vault has multiple entities the system will ask to assign it to the correct entity before moving the document.
