An Entity is a way to organize and label data in a vault. It’s like having multiple filing cabinets in one vault that allows for independent or combined dynamic views and collaboration. The number of entities available in a vault will depend on the package assigned. There are different types of entities with predefined taxonomy.
Having documents attached to different Entities will allow you to have a Dynamic Visualization of documents and provide specific permission to your collaborators.
By default, all vault have one Entity set as a Personal.
We suggest creating different Entities for your spouse, children and business. The document structure (taxonomy) changes depending on the type of entity you choose.
