Vault owners can receive notifications in either English or French, depending on their language preference. This article outlines the different types of notifications available and how to manage them.
Types of Notifications:
In-App / Bell Notifications
These notifications appear in the top right corner of the vault under the bell icon.
Email Notifications
When enabled, email notifications are triggered for each document upload in the following areas:
Inbound Email Attachments: Both the owner and sender receive an email when an email or document is sent as an attachment via Inbound Email.
All Documents Uploads: Receive an email notification whenever a user uploads a document to any folder under the All Documents tab. Simply access the vault and click on the Bell notification hyperlink for quick access.
Unfiled Document Uploads: Receive email notifications for uploads directly in the Unfiled Tab. Note, this feature is only available for Premium vaults.
The file location is indicated in the email. Click on the 'Access your Vault' button. After logging in, click on the Bell icon to find a hyperlink to the file. SAMPLE:
Steps to Enable or Disable Notifications
Managing notifications is a straightforward two-step process:
Step 1: Click on the top-right corner and click on 'Account Settings'
Step 2: Click on Notifications
Toggle ON and OFF depending on your preference each section for In-App Notifications (Bell) or Email Notifications. Click 'Update'.
