Managing your profile is an easy process, whether you're a Primary Owner, Co-Owner, or Collaborator. The steps to access and edit your profile are the same for all roles, but there are important differences in how each role accesses the settings. Let’s walk through it!
Accessing Your Profile
Primary Owners:
As a Primary Owner, you can directly access your profile settings from within the vault.
- Click on your name at the top-right corner of the screen.
- Select "Account Settings" from the dropdown menu.
Co-Owners and Collaborators:
If you're a Co-Owner or Collaborator, you must first exit the vault to access your profile settings.
- Click "Return to Portal" in the top banner on the left.
- Once you're in the portal (where all the vaults you have access to are displayed), click on your name at the top-right corner.

Editing Your Profile
Once you've accessed your profile settings, follow these steps to make changes:
Edit Your Information:
- Click "Edit Profile" to begin updating your personal information.
- You can now modify any of the fields in your profile. To add additional details, simply click the plus button next to the corresponding field.
Profile Initials:
If you don’t have a photo, the system will display the initials of your vault name as your profile picture.
Upload a Profile Photo:
- Click the photo icon to upload a profile photo from your computer.
- Once the image is uploaded, you can apply filters. Select the filter of your choice and click "Done".
If you wish to remove the photo, click the minus icon. To make edits, click the pencil icon.
Save Changes:
After updating your information and photo (if desired), click Save to confirm your changes.
Additional Information:
- Profile Sharing: Any information you add to your profile will be visible to collaborators and administrative users.
- Address & Assistants: There are separate tabs where you can add or update your address and assistant information. Note that adding an assistant does not create a contact or grant access to the vault. To grant access, follow the steps to add a collaborator.
- Confirmation: Once you've saved your changes, a confirmation message will appear: "Successfully updated profile."
