FutureVault supports a wide variety of file types, allowing you to securely upload, store, organize, share, and download your documents.
Most supported file types can be previewed directly within FutureVault. However, preview availability may vary depending on the file type, browser, mobile device, or operating system. If a preview is unavailable, you can still download the file to access its contents.
This article is updated whenever support for additional file types becomes available, so check back periodically for the latest compatibility information.
- The maximum supported file size is 100 MB per file.
- Files larger than 100 MB cannot be uploaded, even if the file format is supported.
- Files marked No Preview must be downloaded to view their contents.
- Some supported file types, such as .xlsm and .zip, cannot be previewed within FutureVault and must be downloaded to be viewed.
- Preview availability may vary depending on your browser, mobile device, or operating system.

Preview Availability
Most supported file types can be previewed directly within FutureVault. If a preview is unavailable, you can still download the file to your device and open it using the appropriate application.
Preview availability may depend on:
- The file format
- Your web browser
- Your mobile device
- Your operating system
The following file types are supported for upload but do not support preview:
- .xlsm – Microsoft Excel Macro-Enabled Workbook
- .zip – ZIP Archive
Troubleshooting
My file won't upload.
Check the following:
- The file is 100 MB or smaller.
- The file format is listed in the supported file types above.
- Your internet connection is stable.
My file uploaded but won't preview.
Some supported file formats, such as .xlsm and .zip, do not support preview. Download the file to access its contents.
